1. H-1B Visa:
The H-1B visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows U.S. employers to temporarily employ foreign workers in specialty occupations. To qualify for an H-1B visa, the applicant must have a job offer from a U.S. employer for a position that requires a specialized knowledge and a bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field. The employer must also file a Labor Condition Application (LCA) with the Department of Labor and petition for the H-1B visa on behalf of the employee.

2. L-1 Visa:
The L-1 visa is designed for intracompany transferees who work for a multinational company and are being transferred to a U.S. office. There are two types of L-1 visas: L-1A for managers and executives, and L-1B for employees with specialized knowledge. To qualify for an L-1 visa, the applicant must have worked for the foreign company for at least one continuous year within the past three years and be coming to the U.S. to work in a managerial, executive, or specialized knowledge capacity.

3. E-3 Visa:
The E-3 visa is specifically for Australian nationals who wish to work in the United States. It is similar to the H-1B visa, but it is only available to Australian citizens. To qualify for an E-3 visa, the applicant must have a job offer from a U.S. employer, possess the necessary qualifications for the position, and meet the requirements of the specific job category.

4. TN Visa:
The TN visa is available to Canadian and Mexican citizens who work in certain professional occupations. It is based on the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and allows citizens of Canada and Mexico to work in the United States in pre-approved professional categories such as engineering, accounting, and science. Once you receive online visa approval, if doing this in Colombia, you need to travel to Bogotá to get the visa in your passport. Visas in Colombia are issued at the Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores office in Bogotá. Their office is located at Avenida 19 # 98-03, Torre 100 Building, 3rd Floor. It’s open from 7:30 am until noon.
